Technical Co-Founder
We’re looking for a technical co-founder to join us at the very start of an ambitious venture at the intersection of science and AI. Our focus is on building intelligent multi-agent systems for research and clinical trial management (e.g. study protocols, research designs). Beyond this, we are also developing specialised environments in which agents can be trained and operate.
We’re searching for someone to apply and extend existing LLMs—turning them into working applications that deliver real value. What we’re looking for
- Problem solver – able to design creative and novel solutions.
- Fast learner – comfortable adapting to rapidly changing technologies and startup dynamics.
- Self-starter – no manager, but plenty of freedom; you’ll set your own direction.
- Forward-deployed engineer mindset – build with the client, not just for them (and use AI effectively in doing so).
- Abstract thinker – can step back, see the bigger picture, and model systems.
- Creative and versatile – willing to explore areas outside your core expertise.
- Effective builder – able to move quickly, write solid code, and leverage AI tools for speed and scale.
- Private sector and international experience (preferred) – familiarity with industry settings and working across different markets is a strong advantage.
Preferred backgrounds include: computer science, mathematics, physics, engineering, philosophy, cognitive science, or other interdisciplinary fields.
Areas you can work on
- Environments – creating client-specific environments for agents (states, actions, rules).
- Evals – measuring performance and defining success.
- Complex agent systems – multi-agent and multi-user interactions.
- Long-running agents – persistent systems that retain state and function as “digital employees.”
- Context engineering – selecting and compressing context, including retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) and prompt engineering.
- Reinforcement learning – teaching agents to act effectively within environments.
- Post-training – RLHF and fine-tuning models (later stage).
- Software architecture & design – building a scalable, secure, and maintainable foundation.
Our current technology stack includes:
- Backend: Python, Docker, cloud deployment (AWS / GCP / Azure).
- Frontend: JavaScript/TypeScript, React (web), React Native (mobile).
- AI integration: LangGraph for orchestration.
Additionally, you won’t be working alone—two team members have technical skills in data science and programming.
